About 4 months later Huck found a suspicious footprint in the snow and suspects his father has returned.Huck goes to jim snd asked about his fortune and jim told him that Huck's pap is back.Huck's pap was in his room that evening. Huck's pap is returning in search of Huck's 6000 dollars.
The next day huck decides to drift off in a canoe heading straight towards jackson's island. He faked his death by cutting off a pig's head andmake it seems like he was murdered.Huck woke up on the shore of jackson island from hearing a sound of cannons firing in the search of huck's body.On the island huck noticed jim, he had ran away in the fear of being sold. Huck and Jim explore the island and discover a dead body inside a house.One day Huck decides to dress as a girl and go back to the town.He met a lady and she let him in her house.She said that jim the runaway slave had killed jim. She said there was a 3oo dollar reward for jim and a 200 reward for Huck's pap. She tells Huck that the townspeople will go over to jackson's island in search of jim.Huck rushes back to the island and tells jim the news,they rushed down the missori river.
